New Year, New Name for Ryan, Sawyer & Whitney
Ryan, Sawyer & Whitney is now RSW Partners

Not only does the New Year bring personal changes, but it is also a time of year for businesses to begin fresh and new. Ryan, Sawyer & Whitney, a Grand Junction-based marketing, advertising and business development firm, is taking advantage of the New Year to change its name to RSW Partners, update its logo and website.
"We are taking this opportunity to rebrand ourselves for a number of reasons," President Tom Y. Sawyer said. "RSW Partners shortens the syllables and sounds less like a law firm, but more importantly, we truly partner with our clients to provide more comprehensive advertising, marketing, public relations and business development solutions."
Creative Director and Partner Dan Ryan said, "RSW Partners has in-house talent that brings top-notch creative solutions to our clients, and we showcase that talent on our updated website. It's an evolving site, and we encourage everyone to take a look."
The roots of RSW Partners go back to 1990, the year two separate companies were founded in Grand Junction, Colorado: Ryan & Associates Advertising, a creative advertising agency, and L.A. Whitney & Associates, a marketing firm. By the mid-90s the two companies were collaborating informally for the benefit of mutual clients. In 1998 they formally merged to form Ryan, Whitney & Company.
In 2009, Ryan and Whitney began a collaborative relationship with Tom Y. Sawyer & Associates, a business consulting company providing systems and technology expertise to start-ups in Grand Junction since 2000. In July of 2009 the companies formally joined forces to create Ryan, Sawyer & Whitney. Partners in the company are Tom Y. Sawyer, Dan Ryan and Lee Whitney.
